History
Spectrum Maintenance Services has been meeting and exceeding the expectations of commercial property owners, property managers and tenants since 2000.
SMS provides a full range of commercial property services for office buildings, industrial parks and shopping centers. SMS offers cost-effective repair and maintenance solutions which enhance asset preservation, tenant retention and the value of the property.
Spectrum Maintenance Services began as a division of a commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm founded by Jon Barry in the early 1990s. While the property management portfolio of the company grew to become one of Atlanta’s largest, so did the need for professional property maintenance services.
In 1998, Ryan Wagner joined the company and began growing a team of maintenance technicians with varied specialties. In 2000, Jon and Ryan founded Spectrum Maintenance Services and began serving additional commercial property owners, property managers and tenants.
Today, with a growing team of maintenance technicians and a fleet of service vehicles and boom trucks, SMS provides virtually all types of repair and maintenance services to hundreds of office, industrial and retail properties throughout Georgia from its Kennesaw, GA headquarters.
Our Mission
Commercial property management runs deep in our DNA and guides our approach to the business of property maintenance. SMS strives to be an indispensable partner with owners, property managers and tenants in providing hands-on care and attention to the real estate asset.
Our technicians are trained to be an additional set of eyes and ears for our clients, to treat the property as if it were their own and to identify potential maintenance issues, preventing costly repairs and minimizing liabilities to the owner or tenant.
A team of Senior Account Managers and Client Service Representatives provide personal attention to every client of the company. We believe that the close working relationships we have with our clients combined with our ability to deliver hands-on services through our in-house maintenance team give our clients the greatest degree of control of the process and confidence in the results.
